Terms of Use

What you're agreeing to by playing this word game

Solving puzzles in SandLetters means accepting the points below. They're scoped to match exactly what this is: a free, gentle word-spelling game with no purchases involved anywhere.

What you're agreeing to

SandLetters is free to play from start to finish. There's no currency, no subscription tier, and no mechanic anywhere that exchanges real money for any advantage. Playing the game means accepting these terms as currently written.

What the game involves

You read clues and spell out hidden words by tapping shuffled letter tiles. That's the complete gameplay loop across twenty rounds. There's no element of chance tied to monetary value and nothing resembling a wager anywhere in the design.

SandLetters contains no randomized paid purchases, no loot mechanics, and no system where real or virtual currency is staked on an outcome. Every word and every hint is freely available within the normal flow of play.

Acceptable use

Play SandLetters for your own enjoyment as often as you like. Please don't scrape or repackage the word list or underlying code for commercial resale, automate solving through external scripts in disruptive ways, or otherwise interfere with the page's normal operation.

Ownership

The clue writing, puzzle structure, visual design, and overall presentation belong to the people who built SandLetters. Playing grants you a personal licence to enjoy the experience — it doesn't transfer ownership of any part of the work.

No promises of perfection

We've tested SandLetters across common browsers, but flawless behaviour everywhere can't be guaranteed. If a puzzle ever behaves oddly, refreshing the page typically resolves it without any lasting consequence.

Limits on liability

To whatever extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect issues stemming from your use of this free experience. Since nothing financial changes hands, our practical exposure is intentionally minimal.

Changes

We may add new words, adjust hint costs, or revise these terms as the game develops. Continuing to play after a change means you're comfortable with the current version.
